Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) – Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – for the OB/GYN specialty in Camden, NJ. You will provide advanced nursing practice within a clinical team, encompassing assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and patient education to promote positive outcomes.

Reporting to the obstetrics team, the role involves inpatient, outpatient, and community settings, with Full-Time schedule and 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Women’s Health NP certification; Midwife certification; PA with women health experience.
• Master's Degree in NP or PA required.
• New Jersey RN, APN, or PA license; APN or PA board certification; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Advanced nursing practice in OB/GYN in consultation with the health care team.
• Assess, diagnose, treat, and educate patients; contribute to research.
• Serve as a key member of inpatient, outpatient, and community care teams.

Assume responsibility for advanced nursing practice within a clinical specialty. In consultation with other members of the health care team, strengthens nursing practice and promotes positive patient outcomes. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of patients, staff and patient education, and research. Serve as a significant member of the multidisciplinary health care team in the inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.

Experience Required

Women’s Health NP certification; Midwife certification; will consider PA with women health experience.

Education Requirements

Master's Degree as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

License/Certification Requirements

New Jersey RN, APN, or PA license; APN or PA board certified American Heart Association BLS certification
