Job summary

Cooper University Health Care in Mt Laurel, NJ seeks a part-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) – Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – to strengthen patient outcomes through assessment, diagnosis, treatment and education within a multidisciplinary team.

The role involves inpatient, outpatient and community settings; 24 hours weekly with gastroenterology exposure preferred. Requires NJ-APN/RN or PA credentials and BLS.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience; gastroenterology experience preferred.
• Master's degree and NP or PA credentialing.
• Licensed or certified as required (BLS; NJ-APN & RN or PA).

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, treat and evaluate patients within a clinical specialty.
• Contribute to patient and staff education and research activities.
• Serve as a key member of the multidisciplinary health care team in inpatient, outpatient and community settings.

JOB DESCRIPTION - ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER (APP) Part Time - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Mt Laurel, NJ

Assume responsibility for Advanced Practice Provider (APP) – Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant within a clinical specialty. In consultation with other members of the health care team, strengthens nursing practice and promotes positive patient outcomes. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of patients, staff and patient education, and research. Serve as a significant member of the multidisciplinary health care team in the inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.

Experience Required

2 years of experience. Gastroenterology experience is preferred.

Education Requirements

Master's - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

License/Certification Requirements

License (or Certification): American Heart Association BLS; NJ-Advanced Practice Nurse & Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant are required.
