Job summary

Riverside Medical Group seeks a Full-Time Urology Advanced Practice Provider for the Urology Specialists on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. The role combines outpatient and procedural duties, delivering patient-centered urologic care with a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited NP or PA program, possess Virginia APRN or PA licensure, and hold or pursue national board certification (FNP/AGACNP or NCCPA) with DEA, BLS, and ACLS as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with license or eligibility in Virginia.
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with license or eligibility in Virginia.
• National board certification as FNP/AGACNP or NCCPA and DEA registration intended/obtained.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive urologic care, including assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Perform and assist with urologic procedures within scope of practice.
• Manage acute and chronic urologic conditions in clinic and hospital settings.
• Educate patients and arrange follow-up care to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to improve quality of care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and participate in quality initiatives.

Salary Range: $115,000.00 - $150,000.00 (actual pay depends on specialty, experience, and performance)

Overview / Role Summary

Riverside Medical Group is currently seeking a Full-Time Urology Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at Urology Specialists on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a team of experienced urology providers delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in both outpatient and procedural settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive urologic care, including patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Perform and assist with urologic procedures within scope of practice.
• Manage acute and chronic urologic conditions in both clinic and hospital settings.
• Conduct patient education, counseling, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adherence to clinical best practices.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program; Current or eligible Virginia Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license; National board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP).
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program; Current or eligible Virginia Physician Assistant license; National certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Eligible for Virginia licensure at time of hire.
• DEA registration (or ability to obtain prior to start date).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
