A healthcare organization in Austin, Texas, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to collaborate with Physicians in delivering high-quality medical assessments. You will be responsible for traveling to various clinics and ensuring timely, objective medical opinions based on claimant records. Candidates should possess a relevant Advanced Practice Provider degree, licensure, and effective communication skills. Preferably familiar with Texas Workers’ Compensation processes. This role involves a mix of office work and field travel up to 25% of the time.

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will work closely with Physicians and the Utilization Review Director to produce high-quality medical opinions to customers. They will travel with and assist the Physician with the exam clinics. They will also assist the Physician in completing a quality exam report.
This job operates in a professional office environment. This is largely a sedentary role. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to ten (10) pounds.
Travel may be required for this role up to 25%.
