Job summary

Intermountain Health in Colorado is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) in Electrophysiology to join our cardiovascular team serving the Denver Metro Area. You will work with two Cardiac Electrophysiologists and two APPs to provide pre/post-procedure care, EP consults, and outpatient follow-up across our hospitals and clinics.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Current Colorado NP or PA license, or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • DEA registration and full prescriptive authority.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Minimum of one year of Electrophysiology experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

Responsibilities

  • Managing pre- and post-procedure patient care
  • Evaluating and coordinating EP consults
  • Providing outpatient follow-up care in the clinic setting
  • Rounding on hospitalized electrophysiology patients
  • Helping expand and enhance device management services
  • Educating nursing staff and providers on electrophysiology best practices
  • Contributing to the continued growth of a highly respected cardiovascular program

  • Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, CO
  • Platte Valley Hospital in Brighton, CO
Outstanding Work-Life Balance
  • 4 ten hour shifts Monday through Friday schedule (day off will vary)
  • Approximately 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • No call responsibilities
  • No weekends
  • Dedicated, collaborative physician and APP support
