Job summary

Nationwide Children’s Hospital is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider in Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics at our Main Campus in Columbus, OH. This full-time role includes day shifts, Monday–Friday, with potential duties at Livingston Ambulatory Center and the Child Development Center in Westerville.

Required: Master of Science or equivalent, active Ohio APRN/PA licensure, and continuous national APRN/PA certification.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree or equivalent provision.
• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of Ohio.
• Maintains national certification as APRN in the appropriate population foci for the position, or PA.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients and/or populations; develops, implements and evaluates plans of care; clearly documents and communicates information.
• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures according to established guidelines and standards as necessary for the care of the patient.
• Utilizes evidence-based practice, serves as a clinical expert for policies, procedures, documentation, and skills.
• Assists in the education, training and development of new and existing staff members.
• Engages in Quality Improvement and data collection activities.

In DBP, we provide high quality, accessible care for children with emotional, behavioral and developmental disorders. We collaborate with families, schools, community organizations and other healthcare providers to provide individualized care for each child.
