Qualifications

• Must be nationally certified Advanced Practice Nurse (APN).
• Must be eligible for prescriptive authority per Indiana State Board of Nursing.
• Experience: 3–5 years preferred in related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in cutaneous (skin) surgical oncology as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with surgeons and other specialists to manage malignant melanoma and cutaneous malignancies.
• Participate in program development, quality initiatives, and patient-centered care delivery.

This opportunity is located in our North and East Regions specializing in Cutaneous (Skin) Surgical Oncology, collaborating with Dr. Jeff Wagner and Dr. Adam Riker.

Highlights

Community Physician Network is seeking a passionate Advanced Practice Provider with a strong interest in malignant melanoma and other cutaneous malignancies to join our established surgical oncology program in the vibrant city of Indianapolis. This position will be based primarily on the north side of Indianapolis at Community Hospital North. Ideal candidates will possess excellent communication skills, a collaborative approach to patient care, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. The role will focus predominantly on Cutaneous Surgical Oncology, with some exposure to and involvement in plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Experience

• 3 to 5 years of experience preferred
• Must successfully complete a nationally recognized Advanced Practice Nurse certification examination or have current national certification; must maintain certification on an ongoing basis.
• Must be eligible for prescriptive authority under the criteria outlined by the Indiana State Board of Nursing; must maintain eligibility for prescriptive authority on an ongoing basis.
