Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to cover the outpatient cardiology clinic in a Monday–Friday, 1.0 FTE schedule at the Liberty Office in West Chester, OH.

The APP may be an APRN or PA, trained at the graduate level, to perform independent and collaborative visit notes, with privileges and prescriptive authority as defined. Cardiology experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior Cardiology experience preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.

Responsibilities

• Cover outpatient clinical cardiology clinic independently and in collaboration with physician(s).
• Practice in office, telemedicine, or Clinic as dictated by privileges.

Job Overview

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) may be an APRN or PA that has been prepared with the appropriate graduate level education and authorized to practice and prescribe as such. May provide general medical and/or surgical care and treatment to patients in a medical setting (office, telemedicine, or Clinic) in collaboration with physician(s) for APP's where dictated. If the APP will be practicing in the office setting, the delineation of privileges will also dictate the scope of practice.

Education

Graduate from an accredited Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.

License/Certification

• DEA license
• BLS and ACLS certified

Certified Nurse Practitioner: Acute Care, Adult, or Family Nurse Practitioner certification verified by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN), American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Current, valid license (registration) by the Ohio Board of Nursing, as well as the Kentucky Board of Nursing.

OR

Physician Assistant: Graduate from an accredited physician assistant program with a master's degree Physician Assistant Certification (verified by the National Commission or the Certification of Physician Assistant - NCCPA. Current, valid license (registration) by the state Medical Board of Ohio as well as the state Medical Board of Kentucky. Current Certificate to prescribe by the State Medical Board of Ohio and Kentucky.
