Requirements include FNP or ACNP with cardiology experience preferred; active AZ license or willingness to apply. Clear communication with the physician team and responsive patient care are essential.

Cardiology APP with Pima Heart and Vascular in Tucson, AZ- Hybrid Position-Clinic /Hospital RoundingPima Heart and Vascular is in search of a full time APP to work alongside an Interventional Cardiologist in both inpatient and outpatient setting.About the Practice:Serving the community for 40 years, PIMA Heart and Vascular is the largest independent cardiovascular practice in Arizona and one of the largest independent practices in the country, known for comprehensive cardiovascular services, high-quality outcomes, and strong operational capabilities. Our board-certified and board-eligible physicians specialize in internal medicine, general, interventional, and structural cardiology, electrophysiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and vascular surgery.The Cardiology APP will work independently to deliver competent medical care to an age specific population including adults and geriatric patients in outpatient clinic and alongside an Interventional Cardiologist as well as back up for inpatients as needed. This position will complete admission workups and consultations, function as the on-site liaison to directly receive phone calls from staff and provide orders for routine and urgent medical care needs, transfer, or discharge as appropriate and communicate directly with the physician.Experience Requirements:FNP or ACNP with Cardiology Experience preferred but not requiredNew Grads with Cardiology Experience as RN are encouraged to applyNP Board CertificationActive AZ license or willing to applyPosition Highlights:Full time -40 hours per weekMonday- Friday with some weekend callOutpatient clinic and Hospital roundingBenefits Package availableThe Cardiology APP will maintain the scope of practice to be consistent with the policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines governed by the Arizona Board of Nursing, the Arizona Medical Board, and any other federal or state regulatory agencies, as well as the policies and procedures of PIMA.
