Job summary

American Family Care, Inc. is looking for an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to deliver quality patient care within their franchises. The role requires collaboration with staff, efficient patient flow, and satisfaction. Responsibilities include conducting health assessments, formulating diagnoses, and providing emergency treatments.

The successful candidate will have current licensure in Pennsylvania, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently. This position offers part-time work with the potential for full-time.

Qualifications

• Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family.
• ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certified with 1 yr ER/UC experience preferred.
• Able to multi-task and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete and accurate health histories and develop medical assessments.
• Formulate medical and nursing diagnoses and institute therapy or referrals.
• Provide emergency treatment or stabilization measures in critical situations.
• Interpret and analyze patient data for management and treatment.
• Provide instructions regarding health care and promotion.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) cares for our patients within the scope of training and approved the agreement, as outlined by their governing board. Works collaboratively with other providers and staff to ensure efficient patient flow and a high level of patient satisfaction. This position works directly with a franchised business location. The specific job duties and benefits can vary between franchises. Part Time employment with the possibility of Full Time.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete, detailed, and accurate health histories, review patient records, develop comprehensive medical assessments, and order laboratory, radiological and diagnostic studies appropriate for complaint, race, sex, and physical condition of the patient
• Formulate medical and nursing diagnoses and institute therapy or referrals of patients to the appropriate health care facilities, agencies, and other resources of the community or physician
• Institute emergency measures and emergency treatment or appropriate stabilization measures in situations such as cardiac arrest, shock, hemorrhage, convulsions, poisoning, and allergic reactions
• Interpret and analyze patient data to determine patient status, patient management and treatment
• Provide instructions and guidance regarding health care and health care promotion to patients/family/ significant others
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
