Job summary

Skin Pharm is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to assess skin concerns, develop personalized care plans, and deliver in-clinic treatments with at-home guidance. You will manage prescriptions when appropriate and build strong patient relationships in a cosmetic dermatology setting.

Candidates should be autonomous, collaborative, and passionate about aesthetics. NP and PA qualifications include NP/PA programs, state licensure, and national certification

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current APRN or PA licensure in the applicable state.
• Current RN licensure (preferred for NP tracks).
• National certification by AANP/ANCC or NCCPA.

Job description

ABOUT THE JOB

As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) at Skin Pharm, you’ll assess patients’ skin concerns, needs and goals to develop personalized skin care plans. Comprehensive patient care is at the heart of the APP role. This includes in-clinic treatments, at-home skin care recommendations and managing prescriptions when necessary. You’ll perform a variety of cosmetic treatments and build meaningful patient relationships while providing the highest standard of care and natural, never-overdone results.

ABOUT YOU

You’re passionate about the aesthetics industry, a critical thinker and excellent at multitasking. You’re autonomous yet collaborative. You’re social media-savvy and have a knack for networking, too.

1+ year of experience practicing in aesthetic medicine or a procedure-oriented speciality is preferred, but not required. Experience in neuromodulators, dermal fillers, needling treatments, light therapy and medical-grade skin care consultations is a plus.

NP QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
• Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure*
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure*
• Certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC)

PA QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program
• Current Physician Assistant (PA) Licensure*
• Certified by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) in state practicing

*License(s) should be in the applicable state or otherwise disclosed to the hiring team.
