Job summary

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers is seeking a part-time APP (20 hours/week) to perform hospital rounding in the Colorado area. Responsibilities include patient examinations, clinical evaluations, and coordinating with the physician team for short- and long-term care planning.

RN or PA licensure and BLS/CPR are required; NP with MSN and PA with NCCPA are considered. Salary range is $55.00-$67.00 per hour with benefits including health/dental/vision, wellness, HSA, FSA, 401(k), life and disability

Qualifications

  • MSN from an accredited nursing school and successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program.
  • This position typically requires a minimum of one year of experience as a practicing Nurse Practitioner and 3-5 years in either inpatient or ambulatory oncology setting.
  • RN state licensure and current registration with the State Board of Nursing; Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • AOCNP preferred.
  • Current basic life support (BLS)/CPR certification required.
  • Or Physician Assistant with accredited PA program and NCCPA certification.
  • At least one year of experience in critical care, internal medicine, or oncology; current PA license in practicing state; BLS/CPR.

Responsibilities

  • Rounding at North Suburban and St. Anthony North.
  • Performing patient examinations and clinical evaluations; manage clinical care.
  • Ordering and reviewing diagnostic studies; ordering and monitoring medications.
  • Participating in short-term and long-term planning of patient care with the physician team.

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado's largest and most comprehensive provider of cancer care has an exciting opportunity for a part-time (20 hours/week) APP to do hospital rounding.

Salary Range: $55.00-$67.00 an hour

Qualifications

Nurse Practitioner Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited nursing school and successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program.

This position typically requires a minimum of one year ofexperience as a practicing Nurse Practitioner and 3-5 years in either in-patient or ambulatory oncology setting.

RN state licensure and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state. Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.

AOCNP preferred.

Current basic life support (BLS)/CPR certification required.

OR

Physician Assistant Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Current NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants) certification.

This position requires at least one year of experience in either a critical care environment, internalmedicine, or oncology. Current state license as a Physician Assistant in practicing state.

Current basic life support (BLS)/CPR certification required.

Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 lbs. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
