Novant Health Surry Medical Extended Care— Rockford in Mount Airy, NC seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) to join an established, growing team under outpatient physicians. This full-time role involves fast-paced walk‑in clinic care, 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) three days weekly with rotating weekdays and weekends.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree, an NCCPA-accredited PA program or NP post-master’s program, and current state license with NCCPA or nursing board

Qualifications

• Master's degree required, graduate of an NCCPA-accredited PA program or NP/post-master’s NP program.
• Current PA or NP license in appropriate state required; NCCPA or nursing board registry, BLS, and DEA registration recommended.

Responsibilities

• Care in a busy walk-in clinic with focus on acute, same-day needs.
• 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, three days per week with a rotating schedule including weekdays and possible weekends.
• Provide efficient, compassionate care for acute illnesses and minor injuries.
