Job summary

CrescentCare in New Orleans seeks an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse to deliver comprehensive primary care within a collaborative team. You will evaluate patients, perform exams, diagnose, treat, and coordinate care with physicians and specialists in a community-focused setting.

Join a team dedicated to HIV elimination, HCV reduction, women's health, contraception education, and gender care while promoting wellness and preventive services for diverse communities in Greater New Orleans.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in science with APN certification.
Minimum 1 year experience in a clinical setting.
HIV-focused care and LGB health experience preferred.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
Louisiana RN license and APN certification required.
DEA certiﬁcate and active NPI number required.
Board certification required; BLS/ACLS as necessary.

Responsibilities

Provide full range of core primary care services within collaborative agreement.
Perform histories, physical exams, diagnostics, and treatment planning.
Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies per guidelines.
Document care in EMR and maintain informed consent as needed.
Coordinate referrals and transitions between care settings.
