WelcomeHealth, Northwest Arkansas' Free Health Center, is seeking a compassionate Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner to join our Fayetteville clinic on a part-time basis with flexibility. The role focuses on primary care with an emphasis on women's health for low-income patients.

The ideal candidate holds an AR NP license with national certification (FNP/AGNP), demonstrates strong clinical skills in primary care, and can educate patients effectively while delivering trauma-informed, inclusive

Qualifications

  • Current, unrestricted AR APRN license with national certification (FNP/AGNP).
  • Clinical competence in primary care across adult populations.
  • Strong patient education, counseling, and health promotion skills.
  • Experience with underserved communities; commitment to health equity.
  • Proficiency with EHRs and regulatory/safety standards; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Provide primary care services with emphasis on women's health.
  • Educate patients and counsel on health promotion and disease prevention.
  • Collaborate within a collaborative clinical setting with staff and volunteers.
  • Document care in Electronic Health Records and maintain compliance.

Role Description

Part-Time with flexibility. Primary Care with an Emphasis in Women's Health

WelcomeHealth is seeking a compassionate and experienced Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to join our clinical team in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Qualifications
  • Current, unrestricted license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) / Nurse Practitioner in the state of Arkansas, with appropriate national certification (e.g., FNP, AGNP, or comparable specialization).
  • Demonstrated clinical competence in primary care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and management of acute and chronic conditions across diverse adult populations.
  • Strong skills in patient education, counseling, and health promotion, with the ability to communicate complex medical information clearly and compassionately.
  • Experience working with low-income or medically underserved communities and a commitment to health equity, trauma-informed care, and non-judgmental, inclusive practice.
  • Solid organizational and documentation skills, including proficiency with electronic health records and adherence to regulatory and safety standards.
  • Ability to practice independently within scope, exercise sound clinical judgment, and adapt to changing patient volumes and needs in a community health setting.
  • Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program; prior experience in community health, family practice, or internal medicine is strongly preferred.
