Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Morristown, NJ. You will collaborate with physicians to provide advanced primary and specialty nursing services, perform check-ups, order tests, treat illnesses, and manage medications for patients of all ages.

Responsibilities include new patient consultations, health history reviews, health maintenance, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Nursing or related area.
Current state Nurse Practitioner license.
5 or more years experience in Nursing or relevant area.

Responsibilities

Provides new patient consultation and reviews health history.
Performs physical examinations and screening on the patients.
Provides after-care/ongoing care information and resources to patients and their families.
Ensures patient records are maintained including test results, immunizations, condition changes.
Delivers quality, physician-level care while complying with company policies, safety regulations, and productivity metrics.
Recommends further treatment options or future appointments if required.
Performs diagnoses health problems and provides medications.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Assists with in-basket and RX refills
