Locums - UCLA Campus Venice Family Clinic - South La Brea Health Center seeks a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for a 26-week assignment in Inglewood, CA. Base schedule is 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential for extended or 12-hour shifts depending on clinic location.

Requires Board Certification in Family Practice, CA license, active DEA, and at least two years of family practice experience. Spanish proficiency preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years family practice experience.
• Licensed to practice in California with clean malpractice history.

Responsibilities

• Provide family practice care across LA area clinics.
• Base location in Inglewood with potential float to nearby sites.
• Manage around 18 patients per day with Epic EMR documentation.
• Collaborate with medical staff and behavioral health on-site.
• Maintain BLS/ACLS certifications and credentialing timely.

Job Title: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
Location: Inglewood, CA
Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM x 5
Term: 26-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $90 - $95/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for a temporary assignment in Inglewood, CA. These positions are 26-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP):

• Must speak Spanish or have medical Spanish proficiency


• Provide family practice patient care services across clinic sites in the LA area


• Home base located in Inglewood with possible floating to 1-2 nearby sites


• Work 5 8-hour shifts per day starting at 8a or 11a, with 1-2 evening shifts per week


• Some flexibility to work 12-hour shifts depending on clinic location assignment


• Part-time availability welcomed; 4 weeks per month ideal but fewer weeks per month also considered


• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and charting


• See an average of 18 patients per day


• Collaborate with robust support staff including Medical Assistants, RNs, LVNs, and on-site Behavioral Health professionals


• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications


• Must be Board Certified in Family Practice


• Maintain valid California state license (no license sponsorship available)


• Maintain active DEA registration


• Minimum of 2 years of family practice experience required


• Maintain a clean malpractice background; no major malpractice will be accepted


• Complete credentialing process within the required 12-14 week timeframe
