Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking an Advanced Practice Clinical Dietitian to join its interdisciplinary team. The role centers on delivering Medical Nutrition Therapy across age groups, following the Nutrition Care Process, and leading nutrition initiatives within a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or equivalent Required
• Master Degree Preferred
• Completion of an ACEND-accredited internship practice program Required
• At least 3 years of hospital clinical nutrition experience Required
• Licensed Dietitian (LD) is required
• Advanced Dietitian Certification (RD-AP, CSP, CNSC, CDE, CSO, or equivalent) required

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide high quality Medical Nutrition Therapy following the Nutrition Care Process.
• Perform timely nutrition screenings and assessments per policy.
• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans.
• Provide nutrition counseling to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Evaluate and monitor outcomes of medical nutrition therapy interventions.
• Lead annual clinical nutrition initiative, performance improvement and/or research project.
• Attend and present nutrition information at nutrition support committee meetings.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or equivalent

Master Degree Preferred

Completion of an ACEND-accredited internship practice program
