Job summary

Odyssey Locums is seeking a CRNA for ongoing locum tenens assignment in Monroe, LA. Independent practice with two anesthesiologists available for pre-ops; cases include Ortho, Complex Vascular, OB, Pediatric, Regional, Thoracic. Shifts are 8/10/12 hours with weekend call and rotating schedule. This opportunity features premium hourly pay and support.

Qualifications

• Active Louisiana medical license
• Board certification in anesthesia
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Credentialing timeframe ~120 days

Responsibilities

• Provide CRNA services for ortho, vascular, OB, pediatric, regional, and thoracic cases.
• Work in an independent model with two anesthesiologists assisting with pre-ops.
• Perform epidurals and spinal anesthesia as needed.
• Operate using Epic EMR.
• Shift pattern: 8/10/12 hour shifts with rotating weekends.

The Role:

• Location: Monroe, LA
• Assignment duration: ongoing
• Shift Type: Scheduled Shift Hours + Weekend Call
• Shift Times: 8/10/12 Hours - Rotating schedule.
• Weekend Call after becoming familiar with workflow
• Call Ratio: Rotates 0-5 Days per month
• Cases: Complete Ortho; Complex Vascular; OB; Pediatric; Regional; Thoracic.
• Patient Encounters Per Shift: 3-4 or 10-12 for Endo (Depends on the Shift Worked)
• Model: Independent; there are 2 Anesthesiologists that assist with pre-ops and any other necessary medical need, otherwise it is independent.
• Need to be comfortable with epidural & spinals
• EMR: Epic
• Requirements: Active LA License, Board Certified, ACLS, BLS
• Credentialing Timeframe: 120 days
