Astrya Global Medical Staffing is hiring a CRNA for a 13-week locum tenens assignment in Lexington, Kentucky, with extension potential. Schedule is 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 4 days per week, at a Level 1 Trauma Center. Pay rate is $189–$203 per hour, with comprehensive credentialing and ongoing support.

Applicants must hold NBCRNA certification, Kentucky licensure, BLS, and have at least 1 year of recent experience in a large medical center. Vaccination requirements apply per facility policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services as a CRNA in a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Work under the medical direction of Anesthesiologists at 2:1 or 3:1 ratio
• Cover anesthesia for Orthopedic, Trauma, Vascular, and Neurological cases (no Cardiac or OB)
• Perform Non-Operating Room Anesthesia (NORA) coverage as required
• Provide anesthesia care across all ages (adolescents to geriatrics)
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation
• Maintain current NBCRNA certification and KY licensure
• Complete privileging process (90–120 days)

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a CRNA for a locum tenens assignment in Lexington, Kentucky. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a CRNA:

• Provide anesthesia services as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in a Level 1 Trauma Center setting
• Work under medical direction of Anesthesiologists, typically at a 2:1 or 3:1 ratio
• Cover anesthesia for Orthopedic, Trauma, Vascular, and Neurological surgical cases (No Cardiac or OB)
• Perform and manage Non-Operating Room Anesthesia (NORA) coverage as required
• Provide anesthesia care across all age spans including Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, and Geriatrics (no Neonatal)
• Perform advanced skills including Intubation, Central Line placement, Arterial Line placement, and general Line Placement
• Manage a patient caseload of approximately 1-9 patients per day depending on surgical volume
• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and charting
• Maintain current NBCRNA Board Certification
• Maintain valid Kentucky state licensure
• Maintain a minimum of 1 year of experience; recent experience in a large medical center setting required
• Maintain current BLS certification and any other required certifications
• Adhere to all compliance documentation and credentialing requirements
• Complete the full privileging process, which may take 90-120 days
• Submit CV in MM/YYYY format with explanations for any employment gaps greater than 3 months
• Complete and submit the required Provider Questionnaire as part of the presentation process
• Comply with COVID-19 and Flu vaccine requirements (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only)
• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and dress code requirements
