Job summary

Emergency Medicine Specialists is seeking Advanced Practice Clinicians to join Wisconsin teams across Fox Valley, Door County, Milwaukee, Watertown and beyond. This opportunity supports full- or part-time employment in busy emergency departments and urgent care settings with diverse patient populations.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited physician assistant or nurse practitioner program.
Current Wisconsin licensure or eligibility to obtain a Wisconsin license.

Responsibilities

Participate as an Advanced Practice Clinician in emergency medicine across Wisconsin jurisdictions.
Engage in the Six-Month APC Mentorship Program and ongoing clinical education.
Take on leadership, teaching, and committee opportunities within EMS.

EMS staffs 14 emergency departments and 10 urgent care locations throughout the state of Wisconsin. Locations include Milwaukee, Fox Valley, Watertown, and Door County.

Six-Month APC Mentorship Program

Designed by EMS APCs for clinicians entering emergency medicine, this structured program builds clinical skill and confidence through side-by-side shifts with experienced APCs and physicians, monthly education, guided readings and lectures, physician-led instruction, and simulation-based training.
