Job summary

Arizona Arthritis & Rheumatology Associates, P.C. in Gilbert, AZ seeks an APC (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our team and help provide high-quality rheumatology care to our patients.

The APC works with the Rheumatologist Attending Physician and care teams to assess, diagnose, and treat patients, order tests, and complete related administrative tasks while maintaining credentials and licenses.

Qualifications

• Essential: NP/PA degree and excellent bedside manner.
• Desirable: rheumatology experience and clinical research exposure.
• Strong EMR skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest clinical standards in patient care.
• Collaborate with rheumatology providers to diagnose and treat conditions.
• Prescribe treatments in coordination with the Attending Physician.
• Support research activities and studies.

We are a seeking an ambitious, friendly, positive, and compassionate APC (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Team.

The APC works alongside the Rheumatologist Attending Physician and clinical/ administrative teams to assess and treat patients with rheumatologic conditions. The APC is required to liaise with internal and external stakeholders as required, complete clinical assessments, order necessary tests and completed administrative tasks related to the patient, payors and third parties.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of the highest clinical standards in the management of patient care
• Responsible for collaborating with Providers to diagnose and treat rheumatologic disease states.
• Prescribing treatments and medications as necessary and in conjunction with Attending Physician.
• Support Research Departments and Studies.
• Contribute to and participate in medical education activities, nationally and locally.
• Maintenance of all valid credentials, licenses and memberships.
