Job summary

Requirements include three years as a pharmacy clerk, a valid Oklahoma pharmacy technician permit or certification, and the ability to work 6am-6pm Monday to Friday with some holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience as a pharmacy clerk and possession of a pharmacy technician permit issued by the Oklahoma Board of Pharmacy or other recognized certification board as required by the hiring entity.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in filling prescriptions and counting pills; use an electronic pill counter.
• Receive and complete inventory reports for medical and surgical supplies.
• Type labels and post information on appropriate records.
• Distribute filled and labeled prescriptions to nursing stations.
