Job summary

Allina Health EMS is hiring an Advanced Trained Paramedic to deliver high-acuity care in a hospital-based, union-represented EMS system in Glencoe, MN. You will provide advanced life support, lead on-scene care plans, and coordinate with receiving facilities while operating state‑of‑the‑art equipment.

The role offers a 0.5 FTE (40 hours per two week pay period) with 13-hour day/evening shifts and every‑other weekend.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational degree within 24 months from date of hire.
• 4 years working in a 911 environment; degree requirement waived.
• Fitness for Duty testing.
• Credentials obtained per Office of Medical Direction during probational period.

Responsibilities

• Responds and provides advanced life support in pre-hospital or interfacility settings.
• Directs on-scene care plans and documents reports to receiving facility.
• Maintains and operates vehicle per policy and driving laws.
• Maintains, sets up and uses advanced equipment.
