Job summary

Sonny's Enterprises, a leading producer of conveyorized car wash equipment, seeks a Packaging Engineer II in Minnesota. You will design, test, and implement packaging solutions that protect products and meet cost and manufacturing goals.

Responsibilities include developing packaging specs, collaborating with engineering and operations, and leading multi-project packaging improvement efforts. 3–6+ years in packaging required; SAP and 3D CAD skills highly desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Packaging Engineering is required.
• 3-6+ years of experience in industrial or consumer packaging is expected.
• Demonstrable proficiency in 3D CAD; ERP experience preferred (SAP).
• Strong MS Office proficiency including Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop packaging solutions for parcel, pallet, and crate-based systems.
• Manage packaging development projects from concept through validation.
• Review drawings to determine packaging requirements and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on packaging improvements and launch activities.
