Job summary

Corecivic seeks an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner to provide advanced nursing services within the facility's medical program for inmates/residents. The ARNP will work under the supervision of the facility physician, delivering comprehensive care and ensuring clinical quality.

Responsibilities include executing orders, administering medications, interpreting diagnostics, documenting medical records, and participating in accreditation efforts.

Qualifications

• ARNP licensed/certified in family practice in the state of employment.
• At least 1 year of professional nursing experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Minimum age of 18 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care including executing physician orders, dispensing and administering medications, and performing examinations.
• Order, interpret and evaluate diagnostic tests and discuss findings with the physician.
• Maintain and document medical records and ensure confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
• Monitor inpatient hospitalizations and participate in care coordination.
• Audit pharmacy use for formulary adherence and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in quality improvement activities.
