Job summary

Precision Castparts is hiring a radiographer in Connecticut to evaluate and interpret radiographs of castings, ensuring they meet customer specifications and internal standards. The role involves detailed assessments, operating equipment safely, and adherence to safety protocols.

Candidates must have advanced radiographer skills, a high school diploma or GED, and preferably prior X-Ray experience with nickel-based castings. On-the-job training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Competent performance of radiographer duties or equivalent training and work experience.
• Ability to safely operate equipment and tools.
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and interpret all film and electronically acquired radiographs.
• Determine the quality of the casting and route parts for repair.
• Ensure proper radiograph filing and storage.
