National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) offers a NASA Postdoctoral Program at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) focusing on Astrophysics mission technology and free‑form optical surfaces.
The NASA Postdoctoral Program (NPP) provides one‑to‑three year fellowships to support research on NASA Astrophysics missions, including the development of processes and technologies for manufacturing and characterizing free‑form and aspheric optical surfaces for grazing‑incidence X‑ray and ultraviolet, optical and infrared telescopes.

Applicants must be U.S. Citizens, U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents (LPR), Foreign Nationals eligible for an Exchange Visitor J-1 visa status, or applicants for LPR, asylees, or refugees in the U.S. at the time of application with a valid EAD card and I-485 or I-589 forms pending status.
