Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands-on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants.
Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program.
Completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces.
Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant with vital signs, injections, and medication administration.

Responsibilities

Assist in patient care under the delegation of a licensed practitioner.
Perform MA I duties and be fully competent in clinical needs for assigned clinic/location.
Follow established policies, procedures, and regulations.
