Quva Pharma in Bloomsbury, NJ seeks an Advanced Manufacturing Technician for sterile compounding in a controlled cleanroom. This full-time, 1st shift role emphasizes precision, accuracy, and adherence to SOPs to ensure product quality and patient safety.

The position requires lifting up to 50 lbs, drug/background checks, and compliance with garb protocols. Eligible candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. with no visa sponsorship needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and compounds sterile preparations accurately according to detailed instructions.
  • Operates and troubleshoots formulation, compounding, and lab equipment.
  • Performs routine cleaning and garbing in accordance with SOPs and site procedures.
  • Keep accurate documentation for GDPs and traceability.
  • Comply with cGMPs and ISO standards at key steps.

Job description

Our Advanced Manufacturing Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the highest quality and safety standards of our pharmaceutical products. Once you complete our training, your responsibilities will include preparing sterile compounds according to work instructions in an aseptic, clean room environment. Your attention to detail and adherence to precise procedures will guarantee that our medications meet the highest standards of safety, efficacy, and quality, providing patients with the best possible care and outcomes. This is a full-time role for our 1st shift, working Monday to Friday from 6:00AM to 2:30 PM. This is a set, consistent schedule with minimum overtime requirements and based on site in our Bloomsbury, NJ location. This is a safety sensitive position that may be subject to random drug testing, in accordance with applicable laws.

What the Advanced Manufacturing Technician Does Each Day:
  • Prepares and compound sterile preparations accurately according to detailed instructions
  • Operates and troubleshoots formulation, compounding, and lab equipment
  • Performs routine cleaning and garbing in accordance with SOPs and site procedures, including scheduled room and equipment maintenance
  • Keep accurate documentation for accountability and traceability of product following Good Documentation Practices (GDPs)
  • Comply with cGMPs and company International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards upon key steps in the work

  • Have a strong attention to detail and carefully follows formulation and compounding protocols and all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to the job
  • Are proactive and demonstrate initiative when appropriate; uses their time wisely

Minimum Requirements for this Role:
  • A High School diploma or equivalent
  • Able to successfully complete a drug and background check
  • Able and willing to walk, stoop, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout each shift, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • 18+ years of age
  • Able and willing to follow "garb and gown" requirements from head to toe in order to maintain a sterile, clean room environment. This includes:
    • Hand washing
    • Wearing hair net, shoe covers, facemask, sterile gown, and gloves, etc.
    • Stringent regulations concerning, for example, the carrying of cellphones, the wearing of jewelry and makeup, and the length / type of fingernails
  • Familiarity with and comfortable using mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, handhelds
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Quva is not able to sponsor applicants for work visas
Any of the Following Will Give You an Edge:
  • Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) License
  • Certified in ACPE sterile products
  • Experience in pharmacy compounding and or formulation
  • Knowledge of cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Processes)
  • Knowledge of ISO 5/7 environment cleanroom gowning

  • The base compensation for this role is estimated to be within the range described below. The compensation offered may vary depending on relevant factors such as experience, skills, training, education, certifications, geographic location, and market conditions
  • Salary Range: $24.50-$35.53/hour plus $2.50 shift differential
