Classification: Full-Time Part-Time Contracted / On-site
Role Overview
We are launching a first-of-its-kind, automated production line. We are seeking tech-forward, adaptive Advanced Operators to master and run our brand-new, cutting-edge Human-Machine Interface (HMI) system. Instead of following rigid legacy routines, you will be among the very first to interact with this system, helping us pioneer, refine, and optimize a brand-new manufacturing process.
This role is ideal for a tech-savvy problem solver who loves being on the bleeding edge of industrial automation, working closely with engineering teams to bring a digital interface to life.
Key Responsibilities
- System Commissioning & Operation: Master the logic, navigation, and control mechanisms of a brand-new graphical HMI platform to safely run an advanced production line.
- Agile Troubleshooting: Monitor real-time system data, interpret complex alarms, and diagnose whether faults are software-driven, electrical, or mechanical.
- Continuous Feedback Loop: Partner directly with Operations Manager, Automation, PLC, and Controls Engineers to report interface bugs, suggest layout optimizations, and help build standard operating procedures (SOPs) from scratch.
- Process Materialization: Safely manage start-up, adjustments, and rapid changeovers using dynamic multi-screen dashboard displays.
What We Are Looking For
- High Tech Literacy: Comfort navigating complex, data-rich digital interfaces (similar to modern CNC controls, SCADA dashboards, or advanced logistics software).
- Adaptability Over Habit: A strong desire to work on an evolving, first-generation manufacturing line where workflows and software interfaces will iterate over time.
- Analytical Mindset: An exceptional ability to visually link a prompt or diagnostic reading on a screen to a physical change or event on the production floor.
- Communication Skills: Ability to clearly explain technical issues or interface glitches to engineering and maintenance personnel.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
- Experience as an Advanced Manufacturing Technician, CNC Operator, Automation Specialist, or a similar role interacting with multi-layered software interfaces.
- Technical degree, certifications in mechatronics/industrial electronics, or equivalent hands-on experience in a highly technical field is a plus.
- Military veterans with experience in complex technical/tactical systems operations are highly encouraged to apply.
