Job summary

TSTC seeks an Instructor to deliver approved curriculum in an applied learning environment, mentoring students and guiding learning outcomes. The role emphasizes engaging activities, diverse teaching styles, and constructive feedback while integrating technology to enhance experiences.

The successful candidate will uphold TSTC core values and contribute to program growth, retention, and student success. Evening/weekend availability may be required as part of a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Verifiable work experience with industrial equipment.
• Strong Electrical/ programming Skills.
• Working knowledge of Electrical Motor Control Systems.
• Working knowledge of Electrical Motor Control Schematics.
• Working knowledge of Maintenance of Industrial equipment.
• Working knowledge of Mechanical Power Transmission systems.
• Preferred candidate would have basic fluid power, PLC operation and programming, machining and welding, and related teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver approved curriculum in an applied learning environment.
• Engage students with activities and mentorship across learning styles.
• Interpret and administer assessments; provide constructive feedback.
• Integrate technology to enrich educational experiences.
• Act as ambassador for programs and TSTC; uphold core values.
• Prepare and deliver high-quality instruction; organize syllabi and plans.
• Maintain student records and ensure safe instructional environment.
• Assist in recruitment and program promotion; participate in tours.
