Job summary

Trace-A-Matic is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to plan machining sequences, develop routings, tooling plans, and process docs to ensure quality and throughput. You will program CNC equipment and troubleshoot tooling issues to meet tight tolerances.

Responsibilities include MRB/Corrective Action participation, value engineering, and adherence to military and contractual standards, while driving cost and lead-time reductions in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or equivalent with 7+ years in manufacturing.
• Strong GD&T knowledge and 5+ axis machining experience.
• Experience with CNC tooling, programming, CAD/CAM and metrology.

Responsibilities

• Plan the sequence of machining and assembly operations from orders and drawings.
• Develop shop routings, op sheets, tooling plans, and process docs that deliver quality and throughput.
• Program CNC equipment to meet dimensional, finish, and timing requirements.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues and participate in MRB/Corrective Action.
• Value-engineer products to reduce cost, lead time, and cycle time.
• Adhere to company policies/procedures, including military and contractual requirements.
