Job summary

Qualifications

• Current, active NY State License in Radiographic Technology (R).
• ARRT (R) Certification.
• ARRT (M) Certification required within 6–12 months of hire.
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory and may assist with ordering supplies and equipment.
• Assists staff and new employees in the use of systems and policies.
• Performs preventive maintenance and monitors service actions on equipment.
• Greet and triage patients, assist with transfers and prepping for exams.
• Reviews patient history and requisition; ensure accurate imaging parameters.
• Processes and archives images; inputs data into the practice management system.
• Ensure patient safety and maintain sterile environment; observe infection control.
• Perform mammography and stereotactic scans as requested; explain procedures to patients.
