Job summary

Cintas is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support an industrial laundry facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana. You will repair, maintain, install and troubleshoot industrial equipment including washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors and boilers, and perform preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities include evaluating work, recording maintenance activities, mentoring junior technicians, and assisting with safety and housekeeping tasks to keep the plant running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
• Experience with and ability to read a blueprint.
• Basic Microsoft Office computer skills.
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift.
• High School Diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, install and troubleshoot industrial equipment in an industrial laundry facility.
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance and testing on equipment and systems.
• Conduct welding activities (MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, brazing) as needed.
• Respond to emergency alarms and address safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain maintenance records and monitor spare parts/inventory.
• Mentor Maintenance Technician I partners to promote best practices.
