Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist with simple to moderately complex experiments under the PI supervision; maintain data/results of experiments
• Prepare specimens and/or mix chemicals and other solutions and set up lab experiments
• Mentor and/or train less experienced staff
• Assign work to less experienced staff as required
• Maintain inventory of all research supplies; prepare purchase orders for reagents and supplies
• Perform routine maintenance of equipment
• Wash and sterilize glassware
• Perform other related duties
