Virtua Medical Group in South Jersey is seeking a fellowship‑trained Interventional Gastroenterologist to lead and grow an advanced endoscopy program within a physician‑led multispecialty group.

You will join a team of gastroenterologists delivering comprehensive digestive care, with access to state‑of‑the‑art endoscopy suites and a strong referral network.

Qualificações

• Board-certified/eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Completion of Advanced/Interventional Gastroenterology fellowship.
• Expertise in ERCP and EUS required.

Position Overview

Virtua Health is seeking a fellowship‑trained Interventional Gastroenterologist to join our rapidly expanding Digestive Health program. This is a unique opportunity to build and grow an advanced endoscopy program within a high‑performing, physician‑led organization. You will join a collaborative team of more than 50 gastroenterologists and subspecialists delivering comprehensive digestive care across South Jersey.

About the Program

• Interventional gastroenterology
• Hepatology and liver care
• IBD specialists and motility program
• Colorectal surgery, oncology, and nutrition services

Procedural Focus

This role is ideal for a physician with advanced training in:

• ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography)
• EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasound)
• Advanced polypectomy and EMR/ and possibly ESD
• Luminal stenting and management of GI malignancies
• Barrett’s esophagus therapies (e.g., ablation), available if interested
• Pancreaticobiliary interventions

Virtua’s program emphasizes minimally invasive procedures with faster recovery and improved outcomes.

Compensation & Benefits

In compliance with New Jersey pay transparency laws, all physician roles include a posted minimum base salary. The minimum base salary for this position is $600,000.00 per year. Final compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience, qualifications, and prevailing market factors.
