Intermountain Health is seeking an Advanced Imaging Cardiologist for McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, UT. You will join a robust imaging service and work with a team of cardiologists, surgeons, and CV APPs to deliver exceptional care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completed or in process of completing a 1–2 year advanced imaging fellowship with level 3 in Cardiac CT and Cardiac MRI.
• Structural Echo procedural guidance is a bonus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Advanced Imaging Cardiologist within a team of physicians.
• Collaborate with 15 cardiologists, 3 CT surgeons, 3 vascular surgeons, and 20+ CV APPs.
• Provide high-quality care with excellent patient experience.
• Support growth of the imaging service and participate in call schedule (~1:10).

Advanced Imaging General Cardiologist - Ogden, UT

About this role:

As a Cardiologist in Advanced Imaging, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.

• You would work with a very well established service line of 15 cardiologists, 3 CT Surgeons, 3 vascular surgeons, and over 20 CV APPs, with full service EP, dedicated heart failure and structural intervention.

• Currently there is 1 dedicated advanced imaging cardiologist, with 2 other general cardiologists that do some cardiac CT/MRI reading.

• Current volumes and anticipated growth necessitate the hiring of another dedicated imager

• Call is ~1:10

How we’ll support you:

Compensation: Our generous compensation package starts with a base salary of $653,000 and up to $60,000 continuous improvement pay eligible in year 2, CME up to $4500 annually, a $30,000 starting bonus, and up to a $20,000 relocation bonus (if applicable).

What you'll bring:

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine

• Completed or in the process of completing a dedicated 1 or 2 year advanced imaging fellowship with a level 3 in Cardiac CT And Cardiac MRI

• Structural Echo procedural guidance is a bonus, but not required

• Will consider new grads or current fellows
