Job summary

ATS Trucking is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic in St. Cloud, MN to inspect, service and repair a variety of company-owned equipment. The role requires diagnosing hydraulic and electrical systems, welding and fabrication, and adherence to ATS safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have a Heavy Equipment/Diesel Technician background or 5+ years of equivalent experience, with ASE and AED certifications preferred. CDL may be required; DOT compliance and safety are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Requires degree/diploma in Heavy Equipment and/or Diesel Technician or 5+ years of equivalent heavy equipment experience.
• AED Industry Certification with passing scores within 1 year of hire; ASE certifications within 1 year.
• 5+ years welding experience and knowledge of fluid power systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service and repair company-owned heavy equipment to ensure safe, road-ready condition.
• Diagnose hydraulic/electrical systems and perform repairs to hydraulic steering/ABS and lighting circuits.
• Weld and fabricate components; interpret schematics and use OEM diagnostic tools.
