Job summary

Baptist Health Medical Group's Heart Failure program in the Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute seeks a Heart Failure Cardiologist to join a well-established team. Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Completion of an accredited Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Fellowship.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology.
• Eligible for unrestricted Florida medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient management of patients with heart failure, cardiomyopathies, pulmonary hypertension, and cardiogenic shock.
• Evaluate and manage patients with chronic heart failure including those potentially requiring advanced therapies, including durable mechanical circulatory support and heart transplantation.
• Evaluate and manage patients with complex cardiomyopathies such as cardiac amyloidosis, sarcoidosis, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, and pulmonary hypertension.
• Collaborate closely with cardiovascular specialists, cardiac surgeons, intensivists, and advanced practice providers.
• Contribute to the continued growth and development of the Heart Failure Program.
• Maintain focus on quality, patient-centered care, professional demeanor, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient management of patients with heart failure, cardiomyopathies, pulmonary, hypertension, and cardiogenic shock.
• Evaluate and manage patients with chronic heart failure including ones potentially requiring advanced therapies, including durable mechanical circulatory support and heart transplantation.
• Evaluate and manage patients with complex cardiomyopathies such as cardiac amyloidosis, sarcoidosis, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, and pulmonary hypertension.
• Collaborate closely with cardiovascular specialists, cardiac surgeons, intensivists, and advanced practice providers.
