Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center seeks a board certified Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join its expanding heart failure program in Morristown, New Jersey. The role spans inpatient and outpatient care, LVAD coordination, and collaboration with surgical and medical leadership.

The successful candidate will teach fellows, residents, and students, participate in program development, and contribute to clinical research.

Qualificações

• Board certification in cardiology required.
• Advanced heart failure expertise preferred.
• Experience with LVADs and heart failure care coordination helpful.
• Ability to teach fellows, residents, and medical students.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct heart failure patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Assist with Heart Failure initiatives and quality metrics.
• Represent the heart failure program on hospital committees as needed.
• CCU coverage at Morristown if desired.
• Oversee LVAD program in collaboration with surgical and medical leadership.
• Engage with Fellowship Program Director to update advanced heart failure curriculum and ensure ACGME compliance.
• Promote transparency, teamwork, and scholarly activity within the service line.
• Support advanced heart failure research and supervise fellow research as needed.
