ChristianaCare's Center for Heart & Vascular Health in Newark, DE, seeks an Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join a premier program. The role involves independent LVAD management, inpatient consultations, and robust outpatient care as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Board-certified cardiologist with expertise in advanced heart failure.
• Experience with LVAD patient care.
• Fellowship in advanced heart failure or transplantation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced heart failure care independently, including management of LVAD patients.
• Participate in consultative and inpatient cardiac services, patient admissions under the Advanced Heart Failure/LVAD service, and outpatient care in the Heart Failure Outpatient Center.
• Engage in on-call coverage and teaching opportunities with ChristianaCare's Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Fellowship.
• Support program initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes using new technologies and clinical trials.
