Job summary

The Sands-Constellation Heart & Vascular Institute at Rochester Regional Health in Rochester, NY seeks a fellowship-trained Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join a dedicated team.

This is a true Advanced Heart Failure practice with involvement in cardiogenic shock, CICU care, temporary and durable MCS, LVAD therapy, advanced hemodynamics, and transplant collaboration. Competitive compensation and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiology
Eligible for NYS medical licensure

Responsibilities

Inpatient and outpatient management of advanced heart failure
Evaluation and management of cardiogenic shock
Participation in the dedicated CICU
LVAD evaluation, management, and longitudinal care
Participation in ECMO and mechanical circulatory support management
Advanced invasive hemodynamic assessment and interpretation
Management of pulmonary hypertension and related diseases
Teaching and mentorship of medical students, residents, fellows, nurses, and APPs
Opportunities for clinical research and program development
