Job summary
Wellstar Cardiovascular Medicine seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join a growing cardiovascular service line serving the Cobb and Kennestone markets in metro Atlanta. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to care for patients with complex heart failure syndromes and cardiomyopathies.

Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex heart failure patients.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient management of advanced heart failure and cardiomyopathy.
- Evaluate and manage patients requiring advanced heart failure therapies.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, surgeons, APPs, pharmacists, and care coordinators.
- Participate in program development, quality initiatives and clinical innovation.
- Mentor team members and trainees where opportunities arise.
- Help advance regional cardiovascular services through patient-centered care.
