Direct Jobs is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant passionate about cardiology to provide comprehensive care at HealthPark Medical Center in Fort Myers. This role involves managing critical treatments related to heart failure therapies and requires weekend and call coverage.
The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients with heart failure, working with advanced treatments, and contributing to patient quality of life. A Florida license and relevant certifications are necessary. A competitive compensation package is offered.
This highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will have a passion for Cardiology and working with high‑acuity patients in both the inpatient rounding and outpatient clinics. Under the leadership of our Medical Director of Advanced Heart Failure, the Advanced Provider will work primarily at HealthPark Medical Center but may be required to float to other locations based on organizational needs and program growth. The role includes responsibility for managing significant life‑sustaining and critical treatments such as LVAD, mechanical circulation support, and ECMO. Weekend and call coverage (estimated at 1:4 once fully staffed) is required. The Advanced Provider will deliver patient‑focused, comprehensive care across the spectrum of heart failure therapies, aiming to improve quality of life and clinical outcomes.
