Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Clearwater, Florida, is seeking a calibration-focused hardware/test engineer to join our Inertial Sensor Assembly team. You will lead calibration activities, develop test stations, and automate processes to ensure accurate sensing performance.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a technical field, experience in hardware/test engineering, and strong collaboration. Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, C++, and Arduino is valued as we advance aerospace safety and testing

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
  • Industry experience in hardware engineering and/or test engineering roles.
  • Understanding of software and hardware integration in testing environments.
  • Knowledge of test stations and calibration software applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, to convey technical information clearly.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

We Value
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in calibration procedures for Inertial Sensor Assemblies or similar systems.
  • Proficient in MATLAB for data analysis and software development.
  • Experience with Thermal Rate Tables and Test Stations.
  • Familiarity with additional programming languages and software tools including Python, C++, and Arduino.
  • Prior experience in aerospace or electrical engineering industries.
