Job summary

School of Rock Highlands Ranch is seeking a passionate guitar instructor to teach private lessons and group rehearsals using the School of Rock Method. You will guide students through engaging curricula and prepare them for live performances, while communicating progress to parents.

In-person role requiring evening and weekend availability, with a focus on flexible scheduling and delivering high-energy, professional performances on stage.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching and/or professional performance experience.
• Skilled guitarist across multiple genres (rock, pop, metal, etc.).
• Strong music theory knowledge and curriculum design experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Positive, patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic about teaching.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; music degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach private lessons & group rehearsals for guitar students (all levels).
• Use the School of Rock Method™, books, and Method App to guide instruction.
• Develop engaging lesson plans that challenge and inspire students.
• Communicate with parents on progress through notes and assignments.
• Prepare students for live performances on stage.
• Support rehearsals and upkeep of lesson facilities.
• Model energy, professionalism, and stage presence.
