Job summary

An Advanced Gastroenterologist position is available in Eastern North Carolina, requiring proficiency in ERCP with a strong interest in developing EUS services. The hospital-employed role operates on a 7 on/7 off inpatient model, with hours Mon-Fri 7a–5p and Saturday 8a–2p, plus 24/7 call during weekdays.

The UNC-affiliated 280-bed regional center provides robust support including Epic EMR and APP backing. Leadership opportunities exist for mentoring and program development.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible physicians preferred.

Responsibilities

• Join GI service line as Advanced Gastroenterologist with ERCP proficiency.
• Interest in developing EUS services and mentoring/leadership.
• On-site inpatient duties with a 7 on/7 off schedule; Mon-Fri 7a–5p, Sat 8a–2p; 24/7 call during the week.
• Leadership opportunities and program development with strong support from APPs and Epic EMR.
