Job summary

Wheeler is seeking a full-time Advanced Field Service Technician in Hurricane, UT. This role performs repairs and maintenance on Caterpillar engines and dealer support equipment at field locations, using SIS, CAT ET, DBS, ServiceLink and Time Collection software.

The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds while traveling to job sites and documenting repairs and service reports. A valid driver record and journeyman-level experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED may be accepted.
• Journeyman level shop tech or 5 years of equivalent experience.
• Flawless motor vehicle driving record required.
• Able to diagnose engines including Tier 4 Final systems and fuel/lubrication systems.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain Caterpillar engines and equipment at field locations.
• Follow safety program; use PPE and safety tooling; attend safety meetings.
• Input repair information and complete service reports.
• Utilize SIS, CAT ET, DBS, ServiceLink and Time Collection software.
