Hitachi Global Air Power is seeking a field service expert in California to service Sullair rotary and oil-free products, train technicians, and support customer sites. The role requires traveling to field jobsites, documenting service visits, and maintaining safety standards.
You will collaborate with multiple departments to resolve issues promptly, issue detailed service reports, and support training programs for distributors and employees.
Candidate MUST live in the following areas; Livermore, Modesto, Sacramento, Concord or San Jose, CA.

$46.00-$55.00 per hour
Summary of the position:
Considered an expert on all Sullair rotary/oil free products and accessories (except for centrifugal technology). Considered an expert on competitive rotary/oil free products, vacuum, scroll and other technologies. Must have the ability, skills, and temperament to train other technicians on Sullair rotary products and accessories. Provides maintenance and technical support for Sullair products at customer field locations. Installs new products or enhances existing ones and may provide training and best practices for on-site customer personnel. Identifies and troubleshoots all possible malfunctions and conducts or schedules repairs. Prepares detailed service reports to document service visits, issues, and troubleshooting actions. Logs and tracks maintenance activities. Work with various departments at Hitachi Global Air Power to address concerns from the field to drive issues to a timely closure. Document service visits and generate reports with action items. Support the Sullair Training Department for customers, distributors, and employees. This position will report directly to the Field Service Manager.
Duties and responsibilities:
The following training must be completed within 6-9 months of the hire date to satisfy the Advanced Technician tier within the HAC Technician Advancement Program.
